Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is hiring a Supply Chain Technician to manage receiving, stocking, and distribution of supplies within the facility. The role includes monitoring Min/Max safety stock levels, performing routine inventories, and ensuring proper barcoding for POU items.

You will also enter deliveries into the SMART system, support nurses stations, and assist POU Station personnel with issues and questions.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate / GED.
• Prior stock clerk experience preferred.
• Some hospital supply experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver supplies in an accurate and timely manner.
• Key and receive supplies into the SMART system and deliver to appropriate departments.
• Review Min/Max storeroom safety stock daily and place orders accordingly.
• Count par level areas (POU areas) weekly according to schedule.
• Ensure POU items have the appropriate barcodes and rotate stock to prevent expiration.
