Job summary

HealthTrust Supply Chain is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to manage receiving, keying, and distributing hospital supplies, while maintaining Min/Max safety stock levels and performing regular physical inventories.

Responsibilities include accurate unloading, logging into the SMART system, stocking, and QA checks. The role supports POU areas and storerooms, with collaboration across nurses stations and POU staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous stock clerk experience preferred.
• Some hospital supply experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver supplies accurately and on time.
• Transport legend and non-prescription drugs per role scope.
• Maintain storeroom safety stock and Min/Max levels.
• Receive expedited deliveries and log into SMART system.
• Record cross-docked items into SMART as needed.
• Review storeroom Min/Max daily and place orders.
• Count par levels in POU areas weekly.
• Ensure POU items have barcodes.
• Perform QA checks on totes per policy.
• Rotate stock in POU and storeroom areas to avoid date issues.
• Review after-hour logs to prevent repeated charges.
• Respond to POU critical point messages and stockouts.
• Process returns to vendor or backup stock appropriately.
• Assist POU Station personnel and nurses with issues.
