Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Supply Inventory Technician to manage receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies across hospital storerooms and POU areas in Overland Park, KS. You will maintain Min/Max levels, perform regular counts, and ensure accurate data entry in the SMART system.

The role involves rotating stock, verifying barcodes, coordinating with nurses stations, and supporting POU staff to prevent stockouts and ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High School Graduation or GED required.
• Previous stock clerk experience preferred.
• Some hospital supply experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver supplies accurately and in a timely manner.
• Transport legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug‑containing devices as needed.
• Place safety stock in proper locations and review Min/Max levels daily.
• Receive expedited deliveries and key receiving into the SMART system.
• Process all cross-docked items into the SMART system as appropriate.
• Count par level areas weekly and monitor storeroom inventory.
• Ensure POU items have proper barcodes and rotate stock as needed.
• Perform QA random checks on totes per policy.
• Respond to POU critical point messages and stockouts.
• Assist POU Station personnel and nurses stations with issues.
