Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is hiring a Supply Inventory Technician to manage receiving, keying, and distributing supplies across the facility. You will review Min/Max levels, perform physical inventories, and ensure accurate STOCK in the SMART system while supporting POU areas and storerooms.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Stock clerk experience preferred.
• Some hospital supply experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver supplies in an accurate and timely manner.
• Transport and deliver legend and non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing devices.
• Place safety stock in proper location and receive expedited deliveries into SMART system.
• Receive cross-docked items and manage them in SMART.
• Review Min/Max for storeroom safety stock daily and place orders.
• Count par level areas weekly according to schedule.
• Ensure POU items have appropriate barcodes.
• Perform QA random checks on totes per policy.
• Rotate stock in POU areas and storerooms to prevent expiration.
• Check after-hour logs for charges and mitigate recurrence.
• Respond to POU 'critical point' messages and stock outs.
• Process all returns to vendor or backup stock.
