Job summary

The role requires steering a team, managing interfaces for Epic and other EHRs, and collaborating with vendors and clinical leaders to optimize workflows and data governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in healthcare IT with a hospital or integrated delivery setting.
• Experience leading healthcare interface and interoperability projects.
• Strong knowledge of HL7, FHIR, X12, DICOM, and API-based integrations.
• Experience managing projects, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, HIPAA, and data governance in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the healthcare integration team.
• Develop and maintain the integration roadmap and standards.
• Oversee interface lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring.
• Manage EHR integration activities, especially Epic, and external partner connectivity.
• Lead projects from initiation to implementation with budget and risk management.
• Establish KPIs for interface availability and incident response; drive optimization.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and data security across integrations.
