Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Manager of System Interfaces to lead the integration across clinical, ERP, financial, administrative, research, and revenue cycle systems. The role focuses on Epic Bridges/Ensemble interfaces, supports ongoing maintenance, and collaborates with Ancillary and EHR teams, ERP applications, and external vendors.

IT harmonization efforts are underway across the enterprise. Ideal candidates will have 5–8 years in related work with 1–3 years of supervisory

Qualifications

Experience with HL7, X12, FHIR, SOAP and REST services.
Hands-on experience with InterSystems, Ensemble, or Epic Bridges.
Experience in a healthcare setting.
Advanced technical computer skills for technical support specific to functional area and related systems.

Responsibilities

Leverages knowledge of business objectives to ensure interfaces meet business needs.
Leads design discussions and develops interfaces with robustness, security, scalability, and fault-tolerance.
Provides guidance and resolves cross-functional issues across development, testing, deployment, and support lifecycles.
Manages task prioritization and resource planning within the team scope.
Communicates project status between teams, organization, and stakeholders.
Maintains operational excellence through telemetry, monitoring, and alerting for issues.
Maintains documentation and procedures for deploying, managing, and maintaining interfaces and engines.
Monitors status and progress of support tasks and projects and escalates as needed.
Performs root cause analysis and permanent improvements for incidents.
