Job summary

Insight Health System in Coldwater, MI, seeks a Human Resources Coordinator to support onboarding, employee inquiries, and HR operations. This on-site role coordinates pre-hire processes and trainings, manages HR records, and collaborates with leadership to ensure efficient HR workflows across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required.
• Experience in Hospital/Healthcare environment preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft 360 and HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level HR support for policies, benefits, payroll inquiries, and escalate complex questions to senior HR staff.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and candidates to finalize pre-employment processes and documentation.
• Assign and track training courses in the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Process garnishments, unemployment claims, and other official documents timely and accurately.
• Manage pre-employment processes including background checks and screenings.
• Handle employment verifications and HRIS record maintenance, ensuring confidentiality.
• Provide orientation to new hires on policies, benefits, and procedures.
• Assist in employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and workplace culture.
• Support the Circle of Excellence recognition program.
• Adapt to changing tasks and contribute to department success.
