Job summary

Shores Nursing and Rehab Center in Port St Joe, FL is seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to oversee HR operations for our nursing home. You will lead recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance to support staff and residents.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, healthcare experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR management or related field or relevent work experience
• Experience as an HR Coordinator, preferably within the healthcare industry
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Florida
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.Must be able to pass level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR operations for Port St Joe facilities, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for staff.
• Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Collaborate with leadership to address employee relations, performance management, and training needs.
• Act as a liaison between staff and management to address concerns and improve overall employee satisfaction.
