Job summary

Piedmont Urgent Care is seeking a Patient Services Representative to manage front-office operations, greet patients, and assist with administrative tasks. You will verify insurance, collect payments, and support the clinic workflow in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork. Shifts are 12 hours, with some weekends and travel to other Piedmont locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred (1+ year).
• Proficient in EMR/EPIC and front-desk duties.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts, including some weekends and holidays.
• Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist all patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
• Maintain confidentiality and organize patient and business documents.
• Verify insurance benefits and communicate billing policies to patients.
• Determine and collect patient financial responsibilities clearly.
• Support clinic operations and assist the practice manager as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance in documentation and processes.
• Travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required.
