In this full-time role, you will verify insurance, collect payments, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, and support clinic workflows. Travel to other Piedmont locations may be required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus.
• 1+ year experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Experience using EMR software, EPIC preferred.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including some weekends and holidays.
• Team player with patient-focused approach.

• Warm Welcome: Greet and assist all patients and visitors with a positive attitude.
• Patient and Business Documentation: Maintain confidentiality while collecting and organizing documents.
• Insurance Verification: Analyze health insurance benefits and verify eligibility.
• Financial Responsibility: Determine and collect patient financial responsibility.
• Collaborative Support: Assist the practice manager, providers, and staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Compliance: Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance and proper documentation.
• Travel Requirement: Support staffing by traveling to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as needed.
