This role goes beyond a traditional receptionist, handling patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, payments, and front-office coordination.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience in a medical/front desk setting preferred.
• Experience with insurance verification and patient registration is desirable.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and scheduling tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients professionally.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect copays or balances.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments within the EMR system.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Answer questions related to scheduling, billing, referrals, and treatments.
• Support clinic flow and communication between providers and patients.
• De-escalate scheduling or patient concerns with empathy.
