Qualifications

• Minimum one-year supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs patients, salespeople, and visitors.
• Greets patient at check-in window and assists as needed.
• Instructs new patients on medical history and insurance forms.
• Verifies demographic and insurance information.
• Enters data into computer and retrieves data.
• Generates encounter form and compiles information for visit.
• Prepares medical charts and maintains patient records.
• Check-out duties: greets patient, verifies information, processes payments.
• Schedules return appointments and provides appointment cards.
• Balances charges and payments; closes credit card machine.
• Submits balanced report to Executive Assistant.
• Recommends policies and ensures confidentiality and professionalism.
