Job summary

Lineville Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a motivated Financial Specialist / Business Office Manager to oversee the facility's financial operations and business office functions. The role welcomes candidates with a strong foundation in bookkeeping, accounting, billing, and office management, and values organization and attention to detail.

Experience with healthcare billing is a plus, and recent graduates or those transitioning from related fields are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented and accurate with financial data.
• Comfortable with numbers and financial information.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills; ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day business office and financial operations.
• Assist with billing, accounts receivable, and collections.
• Learn and manage Medicare, Medicaid, insurance, and other payer processes.
• Monitor resident accounts and outstanding balances.
• Maintain accurate financial and billing records.
• Assist residents and families with billing questions.
• Prepare reports and track financial information.
• Review accounts for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with facility and regional leadership.
• Maintain confidential financial information and organized records.
