Job summary

Upperline Health is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with partner organizations, building and adapting technology solutions in the field. You will work on-site and remotely, close data gaps, and deliver interfaces from EMR feeds to patient-facing experiences while collaborating with CTOs and operations leaders.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer delivery, requiring rapid iteration, strong communication, and willingness to travel to partner sites

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience spanning software engineering and customer-facing delivery.
• Fluency with SQL and a modern data stack.
• Experience integrating with systems you do not control - vendor APIs and data negotiations.
• Ability to travel 25-40% to partner sites.
• Excellent communication skills for technical, clinical, and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Embed with partner organizations, building and adapting technology solutions in the field.
• Design, build, ship, and own Upperline's integrations and custom applications at partner sites.
• Work across engineering, product, and customer delivery to translate on-ground needs into working software.
