Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer in Memphis to maintain and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, and related facilities.

You will support the Healthcare sector, ensure compliance with codes, and help sustain reliable operations across diverse environments. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with multiple years of related experience, plus readiness to work on-site and lift heavy loads as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems. Ensure building systems operate to applicable standards.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives for building operations.
• Maintain energy management and preventive maintenance programs; perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials; keep a clean, safe workplace.
• Review building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure operation within design conditions.
