Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Maintenance Engineer to join our facilities team supporting a healthcare education client. The role focuses on reliable operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life-safety systems with preventative maintenance and rapid troubleshooting.

The position is full-time with a Monday–Friday 2nd shift and on-call rotation to ensure uninterrupted facility operation in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 4–5 years of relevant experience.
Ability to perform maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
Strong organizational skills and safety awareness for healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, electrical, life safety, and control systems.
Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives for building operations.
Maintain an energy management program and ensure efficient system operation.
Assist with preventive maintenance and perform emergency repairs as needed.
Adhere to safe storage and handling of hazardous materials; keep a clean workplace.
Review building systems to ensure operation meets design specifications.
Apply standard professional knowledge to complex maintenance tasks and provide solutions.
Coach peers and share knowledge within the team.
Lead by example and help build consensus within CBRE RISE values.
Impact a range of customer, operational, and service activities within teams.
Work within broad policies and guidelines.
Explain difficult information clearly to stakeholders.
