Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician to service healthcare facilities, including hospital operations. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems, and support energy management.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Strong communication and organizational skills, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office, are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads up to 50 lbs or more.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with basic work routines.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Use procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Deliver output by following defined procedures under supervision.
