Job summary

Beverly Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to support daily operations across campus. The role involves performing repairs, routine maintenance, and safety checks on buildings and equipment, using blueprints and testing tools to ensure reliability.

Ideal candidates have at least 4 years of maintenance or construction experience, a high school diploma (technical training preferred), and a Massachusetts driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school training preferred.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in general maintenance or construction.
• Massachusetts driver’s license required; Special Operator’s License may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and advanced repairs from start to finish using the Maintenance Request System.
• Read blueprints or schematic drawings and work at multiple hospital sites.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain stock levels and keep accurate records of work performed.
• Respond to emergencies and adhere to safety and cleanliness guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing training and contribute to a safe environment of care.
