Job summary

Beverly Hills Rehabilitation Centre is seeking a full-time Maintenance technician to uphold facility standards, follow schedules, and perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems while reporting incidents to supervision.

Daily tasks include grounds care, lighting, safety compliance, equipment upkeep, and assistance during emergencies. A minimum 10th grade education and ability to work independently are required, with attention to resident confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions and accept constructive criticism.
• Ability to deal tactfully with staff, residents and the public.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules and perform routine facility repairs.
• Maintain and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical systems.
• Clean windows, replace bulbs, service heating/cooling units, and handle safety procedures.
