Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Supervisor, Facilities Management to lead day-to-day operations across assigned facilities. You will provide technical guidance, supervise teammates, and ensure safety compliance and service excellence while aligning with health system policies.

The role requires onsite work and regular travel between UCI Health locations, with responsibilities including staffing, training, performance management, and maintaining records in a fast-paced academic medical center environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of supervisory experience in physical plant operations or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledgeable about strategies for improving utility usage efficiency and concepts related to high performance medical center buildings.
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Current State of California Driver's License.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, provide technical guidance, and supervise coworkers in assigned facilities.
• Manage workflow, ensure coworker competency, and ensure safety compliance and service excellence.
• Plan staffing across shifts and locations, train new coworkers, and coach performance.
