Job summary

You will collaborate with Capacity Management, Transfer Center, Care Management, and hospital operations, escalate issues as needed, and act as a liaison across teams. Candidates should have BSN, CA RN, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in progressive management or house supervisor roles in acute care.
• BSN degree required; active CA RN license.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of JCAHO and regulatory requirements in acute care.
• Experience supervising teams in an acute care setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical and nursing resources to optimize patient flow and throughput.
• Collaborate with Capacity Management, Transfer Center, Care Management and hospital operations.
• Assess patient care issues for safety and satisfaction and escalate as needed.
• Serve as liaison among teams and initiate interventions in the absence of senior leaders.
• Ensure departments are adequately staffed across shifts.
