Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in equipment maintenance.
• Basic computer skills including CMMS and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs facility and equipment maintenance in accordance with codes and standards.
• Documents through use of the CMMS.
• Proficiently maintains, troubleshoots and repairs mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, doors, fans, boilers, etc.).
• Maintains patient care equipment (beds, wheelchairs, carts, tables, etc.).
• Maintains mechanical/electrical systems (HVAC, fire doors, piping, etc.) within defined parameters.
• Performs routine general maintenance tasks in grounds, carpentry, painting, and snow removal.
• Responds to emergencies such as leaks, floods, power outages and equipment failures.
• Responds to building occupant requests in a timely manner.
• Performs zone maintenance rounding and keeps stakeholders updated on status.
• Conducts preventive maintenance and safety checks.
• Inspects and repairs fire doors, hardware, and smoke partitions.
• Reads blueprints and maintenance manuals to complete assignments.
