Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills including CMMS and Building Automation System.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs facility and equipment maintenance in accordance with codes and standards; documents via CMMS.
• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, conveyors, doors, fans, boilers, etc.).
• Maintains patient care equipment (beds, wheelchairs, carts, tables) as needed.
• Maintains mechanical/electrical systems (HVAC, refrigerators, gas systems, water systems, etc.).
• Performs routine maintenance in areas such as grounds, carpentry, painting, and snow removal.
• Responds to emergencies (leaks, floods, power outages, equipment failures) as directed.
• Responds to building occupant requests and conducts zone maintenance rounds.
• Carries out preventive maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Inspects and repairs fire doors, hardware, walls, and smoke partitions.
• Reads blueprints and maintenance manuals to complete tasks.
