Job summary

Roper St. Francis Healthcare off-site offices and physician practices seeks a maintenance technician responsible for corrective and preventive maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire alarm, pneumatic tube, and central energy plant systems.

You will establish strong customer service relationships, assist in PM program development, and train staff as needed, under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in the maintenance field; healthcare environment preferred.
• Must have a current valid South Carolina Driver's License.
• Working knowledge of computers to complete work orders and preventive maintenance using maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire alarm, pneumatic tube, central energy plant).
• Provide in-depth troubleshooting and knowledge across maintenance disciplines.
• Assist and train other staff on maintenance repairs and preventive procedures.
