Job summary

PanCare of Florida is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance across multiple clinics. You will inspect buildings, perform HVAC, electrical, and plumbing tasks within Florida regulations, and coordinate repairs to keep systems safe and efficient.

You will manage maintenance staff, vendors, and inventories, ensuring safety protocols and timely completion of work. The role supports daily facility operations and patient care environments.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of facilities maintenance, property management, or related field experience.
• Experience in HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and building systems.
• Experience managing teams, projects, and vendors effectively.
• Time management, record keeping, and inventory management.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and emergency preparedness.
• Financial acumen: managing budgets and controlling costs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and grounds regularly to assess issues and ensure prompt repairs.
• Perform allowable HVAC, plumbing, and electrical tasks under Florida law.
• Replace filters, belts, thermostats, and light fixtures; unclog drains; fix leaks.
• Coordinate utility installations and renovations for compliance and efficiency.
• Ensure safety, fire, and security protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure proper lighting, plumbing, and HVAC functioning.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and forecast future needs.
• Participate in safety programs and emergency response where needed.
• Paint and touch-up interior and exterior surfaces at clinic locations.
