Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a mission-driven healthcare organization in Marin County, CA to identify a Project Manager for a large-scale facilities expansion and capital improvements. This fully onsite contract role will lead planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, construction oversight, and relocation efforts from concept to occupancy.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in healthcare/commercial construction, strong communication skills, and ability to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction, tenant improvements, healthcare facilities, capital projects, or major office relocations.
• Experience coordinating architects, contractors, engineers, landlords, consultants, vendors, and multiple internal stakeholders.
• Strong experience managing budgets, schedules, contracts, invoices, change orders, and cost forecasts.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex projects with multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities and capital projects from planning to occupancy and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, milestones, risk logs, and status reports.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, landlords, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with executive leadership, finance, procurement, facilities, and operations teams.
• Manage project budgets, contracts, invoices, change orders, forecasts, and vendor performance.
• Oversee construction activities, site visits, contractor meetings, and project documentation.
• Coordinate permitting, inspections, approvals, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop relocation and activation plans to support operational readiness.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain scope, budget, and schedule.
• Support additional facilities and space planning initiatives as needs evolve.
