Zusammenfassung

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee culinary operations in a healthcare food service setting. You will lead kitchen staff, direct production, ensure dietary guidelines compliance, and drive quality, safety, and patient satisfaction while managing costs.

The role supports a hospital environment with patient meals, a retail café, and on-site catering, leading a team of cooks and culinary staff.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive culinary leadership experience in healthcare or high-volume food service.
• Strong knowledge of patient dining services, dietary guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing food costs, inventory, labor productivity, and QA programs.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate culinary teams in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Experience supporting retail dining and catering operations preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and food service management systems.
• ServSafe Manager Certification strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily kitchen operations for patient meal service, retail dining, and catering.
• Plan and develop regular, therapeutic, and modified menus with clinical leadership.
• Ensure all food meets company standards, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and training to culinary staff on preparation, sanitation, and safety.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and accreditation food safety regs.
• Establish cleaning, sanitation, and preventive maintenance schedules for kitchen spaces.
• Manage food and supply inventories, control costs, minimize waste, and ensure availability.
• Monitor production, labor utilization, and expenses to achieve financial goals.
• Partner with leadership to support patient satisfaction, café performance, and catering excellence.
• Assist with special events and other duties as assigned.
