Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations for a busy healthcare dining program. You will oversee patient meals, retail dining, and special events, driving quality, service, and operational efficiency with a hands-on leadership style.

This role requires strong culinary management, catering experience, and a commitment to safety standards, sanitation, and teamwork in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending upon formal degree or training.
• Hands-on chef experience a must.
• Extensive catering experience a plus.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience - highly desirable.
• Institutional and batch cooking experiences.
• ServSafe certified - highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to established guidelines.
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards; completes production worksheets and waste logs.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safety and sanitation per standards.
• Establishes cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and areas; ensures adherence.
• Maintains inventory to stay within guidelines and ensure availability.
• Decides on leftovers in line with company guidelines.
