Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• 3 years of relevant experience in healthcare, environmental services, and/or customer service required.
• 2 years of relevant leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital procedures and practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Environmental Services employees, interview/select/train new employees and provide ongoing coaching.
• Participate in department-wide projects and respond to customer concerns/compliments.
• Control operating expenses; adjust staffing based on workloads.
• Develop and maintain employee performance standards and conduct audits/rounding.
• Maintain safety and proper use of chemicals and equipment per standards.
• Enhance employee engagement through rounding, recognition, and team building.
• Participate in department and hospital committees.
• Develop programs to ensure safe care and usage of products/equipment.
• Evaluate new and existing products and equipment.
