Job summary

Forefront Healthcare is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to lead daily EVS operations in a healthcare setting. This role supervises staff, ensures cleaning, laundry and waste management meet safety standards, and supports infection prevention programs.

You will coordinate schedules, report performance metrics, and assist the Manager in achieving departmental goals. This full-time, hourly position requires leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient and staff safety.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising EVS, floor techs, and laundry staff.
• Knowledge of OSHA, CMS, TJC regulations.
• Ability to coordinate staffing and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach EVS technicians, floor techs, and laundry staff.
• Oversee laundry operations, quality control, and infection prevention compliance.
• Inspect patient/resident rooms, public spaces, and laundry areas for safety and quality.
• Coordinate daily staffing, schedules, and workflow to meet operational needs.
• Report departmental performance, issues, and metrics to the Manager or Director.
• Train new staff and ensure ongoing compliance with policies.
