Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred Associate's Degree in a related area.
• 2 years of relevant experience required.
• 2 years of relevant management and/or leadership experience required.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assumes shift accountability for environmental services and allocates staff to areas in alignment with policies and goals.
• Manages overtime costs, LOS, and monitors daily FTE and supply usage for the environmental services area.
• Develops and adjusts staff scheduling; fills vacancies and anticipates needs across shifts.
• Maintains payroll information and communicates schedule changes to stakeholders.
• Participates in interviewing and hiring; conducts ongoing employee performance evaluations and mentors staff.
• Acts as a customer advocate by communicating with customers, staff, and management on environmental services issues.
• Inspects hospital conditions and recommends repairs, furnishings, and equipment relocation as needed.
