Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an Environmental Service Technician Lead at Royal Oak Hospital to support the supervisor in daily operations, address staff and client concerns, and ensure timely completion of all tasks. You will lead QA inspections, schedule coordination, and staff instruction to maintain high service standards.

The role emphasizes communication across departments, hands-on supervision, and flexibility to cover multiple sites as needed to sustain clean, safe environments for patients

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant public service or customer service experience in hospital, environmental services, or janitorial settings.

Responsibilities

• Assigns and adjusts work schedules.
• Coordinates and inspects employee work assignments and conducts QA inspections.
• Provides ongoing instruction to Environmental Services staff.
• Collaborates with team and other departments to ensure continuity of service.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and stores it properly.
• Represents upline and resolves work-related issues.
• Owns daily operations and initiatives.
• May work across sites for coverage.
