Corewell Health is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to manage the full lifecycle of special events within the Southfield center. You will collaborate with internal teams, foundations, and service line affiliates, ensuring seamless execution and outstanding customer service.

The role requires 2+ years of event planning experience, strong vendor management, budget tracking, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Communications, Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience in office administration or roles with transferable skills.
• 2 years of experience coordinating special events / event planning.

Responsabilités

• Assist with space contracts negotiations, book event space, arrange catering and AV, travel, signage and décor.
• Conduct site research and visits to support staff decisions on event options.
• Create and revise room layouts for each event.
• Serve as liaison with vendors on event-related matters.
• Support on-site production and cleanup for events as needed.
• Prepare nametags, materials, registration lists, seating cards and gift bags.
• Close out events and provide post-event documentation.
• Assist with budgets and provide progress reports to staff directors.
• Track event finances including check requests, invoicing and reporting.
• Coordinate space tours and schedule events on the calendar.
• Prepare and modify event contracts as requested.
• Maintain and communicate the overall calendar of events.
