Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, seeks an Assistant Director of Environmental Services to assist the Director in guiding the Housekeeping Department in a hospital setting. You will coordinate Operations Managers, liaise with administration and hospital departments, and uphold service excellence.

You will establish standards, manage schedules, hire and develop staff, and participate in budgeting and inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history required.
• Excellent written and oral communication, listening and empathy, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage staff, organize tasks, and develop budgets with understanding of facility needs.
• Strong work ethic, drive and initiative for quality and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees operational needs of the Housekeeping Department.
• Coordinates tasks of Operations Managers.
• Liaises between administration and hospital departments to ensure high service levels.
• Establishes standards and work procedures for housekeeping staff.
• Schedules work, interviews and develops housekeeping personnel.
• Performs regular inspections and coordinates with other departments.
