Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline.
• 5 years in an IT discipline.
• 5 years in a Business discipline.
• Health Insurance Industry knowledge (preferred).
• Extensive experience with solution design and architecture across complex enterprise systems.
• Industry certifications such as TOGAF, ArchiMate (preferred).
• Certifications relevant to Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Security Architecture (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Take a lead role to provide strategic consultation to business customers in defining or designing more complex business processes, functions and organizational structures.
• Take a lead role to specify and design large or more complex systems, solutions, networks, infrastructure elements, or processes.
• Use appropriate tools to contribute to the development of more complex architectures and translate into detailed solutions/designs.
• Communicate functional and non-functional requirements of system users and environments.
• Lead improvements and mentor others in architecture practices.
• Resolve complex architecture and business problems and guide major initiatives.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and engineering teams to align designs with enterprise vision.
