Job summary

Sierra is hiring for a GTM-facing Sales Engineer in San Francisco to own the technical pre-sales process, demonstrate Sierra’s platform, and partner with Sales, Product, and Agent Engineering to shape customer solutions.

You will guide enterprise customers through the sales cycle, translating complex requirements into actionable technical solutions and ensuring customer success in a fast-paced AI-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering or customer-facing technical sales.
• Experience in building demos and presenting to customers in GTM contexts.
• Proven ability to build relationships with executives and technical leaders.
• Experience leading sales processes with Enterprise customers.
• Ability to translate customer business problems into Sierra solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree or above; CS or related field bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical pre-sales, scoping customer use cases and articulating business value.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product and Agent Engineering to improve agents and drive GTM.
• Lead and support customers as the GTM and technical lead in early sales conversations.
