Job summary

Salinas Valley Health Medical Center is seeking a temporary Education Office Support to aid in education data management and non-clinical staff training. This role supports the Education Department, maintains records, and helps coordinate community education programs.

Under the Education Department Director, you will manage data via API Education Tracking and HealthStream, assist with budget and invoicing, and help prepare educational materials for staff and the Joint Replacement program.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum High School diploma.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains education records and data management in API/HealthStream systems.
• Provides education to non-clinical staff and supports continuing education programs.
• Assists with simulation activities for hospital staff and community groups.
• Coordinates education schedules and maintains education calendar and room setup.
• Supports AHA coordinator with scheduling, enrollment, and expirations tracking.
• Completes annual staff competency files and attends department meetings.
