Job summary

Golden Valley Health Centers in Modesto, CA seeks a Medical Education Program Coordinator to plan and implement day-to-day operations of medical education programs, including residents, students, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and pharmacy students. This role serves as the primary resource for students, faculty, and staff and liaises with external organizations.

Will work at our Modesto Paradise Site with a Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of student internship programs and medical rotations.
• Ability to create policies and coordinate schedules with attention to detail.
• Strong written, oral, interpersonal and computer skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; fast-paced environment.
• Travel required including overnight recruiting opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program schedules for Advanced Training Program and recruitment of providers.
• Onboard and orient new providers and students within the program.
• Support education program growth and lead change initiatives.
• Coordinate HR and IT onboarding for students and trainees.
