Job summary

Mercy Medical Center Merced is seeking an Education Professional to help plan, coordinate, and deliver healthcare-related educational programs. You will assist in scheduling and conducting diverse training initiatives while ensuring engaging learning experiences for staff and clinicians.

This role combines strong organizational and presentation skills with a deep knowledge of healthcare education, a passion for teaching, and the ability to train diverse groups of professionals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related discipline/field is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of education/healthcare-related experience and two (2) years of supervisory experience are required. Previous direct patient care experience is required.
• Licensed clinician (e.g., registered nurse, occupational therapist, physician's assistant, etc.) is required.

Responsibilities

• Creates and defines organizational education, training and development goals and objectives based on evaluation of organizational and individual needs.
• Organizes and coordinates resources to deliver education, training and development programs.
