Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Charleston, SC is seeking a hospitality-focused Patient Services Manager to oversee the Patient Services Team in an acute care hospital.

Strong leadership, teamwork, and a customer-service mindset are essential; healthcare experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong hospitality and customer service background with experience leading and developing teams.
• Food service management experience preferred; restaurant, hotel, and other hospitality leadership experience welcomed.
• Associate degree with one year of food service or related experience, or a bachelor’s degree in food service management or a related field.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning patient dining technology.
• ServSafe® certification desirable; CDM, DTR, or RD credentials a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily patient dining operations, ensuring meals are accurate, timely, and delivered with excellent service.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop a team focused on creating a positive patient experience.
• Partner with clinical teams to meet patients’ dietary needs, preferences, and prescribed diet requirements.
• Drive patient satisfaction through team engagement, service follow-up, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, confidentiality, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives, department meetings, and facility quality improvement programs.
