Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is launching a paid 16‑week Dining Services Manager in Training program in a healthcare setting. You will learn to manage and oversee dining services with hands-on and computer-based training, preparing you to lead your own account upon completion.

This structured program emphasizes compliance, staff development, inventory management, and delivering excellent resident and guest experiences within a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in dining services or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager, Food Service Manager, LTC-FSM and CDM/CFPP certifications during the program.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with occupants, administration and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing dining services operations, including meal preparation, service, and quality control.
• Learn to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
