Job summary

Aramark in Bloomington, serving IU Health Bloomington/Regional Academic Health Center, is looking for a Food Service Manager to lead dining operations, develop menus, and ensure guests receive high-quality meals from a consistent menu.

You will coach staff, manage client relationships, monitor costs and compliance, and drive performance using Aramark's coaching model. This role requires hands‑on leadership, safety focus, and the ability to maintain service excellence across all dining areas.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required or preferred.
• At least 1 year in a management role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain client rapport and service quality.
• Lifts up to 50 lb and stands for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop dining operations to meet customer needs and tastes.
• Coach and recognize team members using Aramark's coaching model.
• Identify client needs, report progress, and help meet financial targets.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and adherence to policies.
• Oversee production, quality control, and front‑of‑house leadership.
