The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia is seeking an IT Technician Senior with Desktop Services to maintain and support end-user computers, clinical endpoints, printers, and related systems across UVA Health Culpeper locations. The role involves hands-on desktop support, documentation, and potential device deployments, with day-shift hours from 6:30 a.m.

to 3:00 p.m. Responsibilities include diagnosing hardware/software issues, supporting desktops and peripherals, maintaining

Qualifications

High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
7+ years relevant professional experience required.
May require a valid driver's license as specified.

Responsabilités

Support end-user computers, clinical endpoint technology, printers, peripherals, and related systems.
Perform break/fix desktop support, equipment replacement, and lifecycle activities.
Document troubleshooting steps, progress, and resolutions with accuracy.
Travel between the Culpeper hospital and affiliated off-site clinics as needed.
Participate in after-hours on-call rotation once training is complete.
