Allegheny Health Network is seeking an experienced analytics professional to support financial, operational, and clinical performance. You will partner with hospital and physician stakeholders to provide analytical insights and mentor junior analysts.

The role focuses on detailed data analysis, ad-hoc projects, and presenting executive summaries that drive strategic decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related field or 6 years of related experience.
• 3 years in Decision Support and Data Analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ability to analyze and interpret various data types.
• Ability to work with large quantities of detailed data and illuminate higher-level strategic insights.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-organizational partnerships.
• Self-starter who takes initiative and drives progress with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conducts detailed analysis of volume, revenue, cost, and profitability to explain results.
• Performs ad-hoc analyses for trends and leadership requests.
• Analyzes variances to budget/forecast and identifies improvement opportunities.
• Adds operational/clinical data for a holistic view and context.
• Uses rate/volume calculations to assess impact of changes in payer mix or patient mix.
• Creates executive summaries with findings and recommendations.
• Other duties as assigned.
