CLA is seeking a Controller with Healthcare Industry experience for our CAAS practice, based in Minnesota at Appleton, MN or northern MN offices (Monticello, St. Cloud, Alexandria, Brainerd). The role focuses on GAAP, internal controls, budgeting, and client advisory services.

You must have 7+ years as a Controller, a Bachelor's degree, and CPA is preferred. Travel to local client sites is expected as part of in-office work. Minnesota compensation ranges from $98,000 to $168,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; combination of related experience welcomed.
• CPA certification preferred but not required for consideration.
• Experience with healthcare industry accounting is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of GAAP (FASB/SFAS) and financial aspects of the healthcare tech sector.
• Develop internal control policies and budgeting procedures.
• Coordinate budgeting, procurement, or investments for parts of an organization.
• Prepare financial statements and regulatory reports.
• Advise leadership on financial objectives and actions.
• Communicate with boards, bankers, and investors.
