Job summary

CLA is seeking a Controller with Healthcare Industry experience for our Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) practice. Based from Appleton, WI or northern Minnesota offices (Monticello, St. Cloud, Alexandria, Brainerd MN).

You will help clients mitigate risk, meet deadlines, and staff workforce needs with GAAP expertise and internal controls. Responsibilities include budgeting, financial reporting, procurement, and KPI monitoring.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP (FASB/SFAS) and financial/operational aspects
• Experience with accounting software like QuickBooks and NetSuite
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook

Responsibilities

• Develop GAAP knowledge and internal control policies for CF&A in healthcare
• Coordinate budgeting, procurement, and investment activities
• Prepare financial statements and cash flow reports
• Monitor KPI and financial staff performance
• Advise management on financial objectives and actions
• Communicate with boards and stakeholders, including preparation of board materials
