Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking a Controller with Healthcare Industry experience for its CAAS practice in Minnesota. The role supports in-office work at Appleton, WI or northern Minnesota locations such as Monticello, St. Cloud, Alexandria, or Brainerd.

You will lead GAAP-driven financial management and partner with leadership to mitigate risk, meet deadlines, and drive workforce planning. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of Controller experience, healthcare focus, and proficiency with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; CPA preferred but not required.
7 years of relevant experience as a Controller; Healthcare industry experience highly preferred.
Experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite highly preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.

Responsibilities

Develop GAAP knowledge and understanding of financial/operational aspects of the technology industry.
Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for budgets, cash, and accounting.
Coordinate and direct budgeting and procurement activities for all or part of an organization.
Prepare financial information and statements for regulatory agencies.
Evaluate needs for funds and investment of surpluses; make recommendations.
Monitor KPI and financial staff performance; implement actions.
Advise management on financial objectives, policies, and actions.
Communicate with boards, bankers, investors, and others; may include board prep.
