Healthcare Construction Superintendent I: Lead Ground-Up

Job summary

Linbeck Group is seeking a Superintendent I (Healthcare) to lead on-site construction activities in Fort Worth, TX. You will coordinate with subcontractors, manage safety programs, and drive scheduling and lean processes to meet project milestones on $5M–$100M engagements.

Required are a strong safety record, 8+ years in commercial construction, and 6+ years in field supervision as a lead superintendent. Healthcare/education project experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or Business preferred.
• Minimum of 8-years of commercial construction experience required.
• Minimum of 6-years of field supervision as a lead superintendent for a ground-up General Contractor required.
• Experience in healthcare, K-12, higher education, or cultural venues is preferred.
• Contract experience: CM@R, Design-Build, or IPD.
• Strong safety program leadership required.
• Proficiency with Lean Construction tools and scheduling software required.

Responsibilities

• Develop a Safety Culture with Subcontractors by facilitating the BBS program with the Job Team.
• Analyze, document and address Safety Hazards through Safety Walks with the Job Team.
• Review JHAs for completeness and accuracy daily for all trades on site.
• Manage Field Labor including hiring/termination processes with Office support.
• Develop the Master Baseline Schedule with clear logic and durations in coordination with the Job Team.
• Develop Site Utilization, Logistics and Phasing Plans for GMP creation and communicate plans.
• Utilize Lean Board tools to manage productivity and coordinate with all project members.
• Facilitate Daily Huddles and Weekly Work Plans to ensure task commitments.
• Complete PPCs weekly and create recovery plans as needed.
• Generate Daily Reports for Linbeck Self-Perform and subcontractors for documentation.
