Job summary

Linbeck is seeking an Assistant Project Manager [Healthcare] in Fort Worth, TX to oversee a defined scope through multiple subcontractor contracts ranging from $500k to $10m. The role drives scheduling, safety, and financial outcomes using construction know-how across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in construction/engineering/architecture/business and at least 4 years with a general contractor, with proven ability to supervise staff,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or Business and a minimum of 4 years of experience with a General Contractor.
• Demonstrated results on construction projects of similar type, size, scope, and complexity as contracted by Linbeck (strongly preferred).
• Proficient at overseeing another employee's work and motivating staff using supervisory skills.
• Proficient at initiating decisions and actions aligned with project outcomes and company strategy.
• Proficient at communicating effectively to present information and ensure shared understanding.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Linbeck Site Specific Safety Program, including BBS and Safety Walks.
• Understand the Owner Contract and manage the execution to maintain compliance with terms.
• Create and manage the Potential Impacts and notify the Owner as required.
• Manage the RFI Log and distribute to Project Team members.
• Create and manage Subcontractor Change Orders with proper contract language.
• Create a clear submittal log and coordinate with Design Team and Subcontractors.
• Manage the submittal log and verify submittals against contract documents.
• Create and manage the Expediting Log to secure timely material delivery.
• Implement QA/QC programs including tools like A3s, Pre-Install Meetings, and Peer Reviews.
• Oversee manpower and field execution with tools like checklists and look-ahead planning.
• Manage Self-Perform financials to meet project margin including estimating and invoicing.
• Review subcontractor pay apps for accuracy and proper retainage.
• Ensure subcontractor insurance compliance (COI/LSIP).
• Maintain project logs and reports for owner, subcontractor, and internal teams.
• Closeout planning and execution including warranties and documentation.
