Job summary

Hourigan is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead all on-site activities for projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence. This role requires coordinating with Project Managers, subcontractors, and suppliers while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Construction Management degree, 5–7 years of general contracting experience, and proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of experience in general contracting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam).
• Leadership and team coordination across subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage all field activities for small to mid-size projects.
• Ensure subcontractor quality and timeliness of work.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on schedule and budget.
• Prepare project documents: daily reports, look-ahead schedules, safety reports.
• Lead pre-construction and coordination meetings with subcontractors.
• Enforce quality control and safety procedures on-site.
